In April 2022 we saw our first running team take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, passing some of the most iconic spots of London and raising funds for the Society.

Starting near Pall Mall, participants traversed central London, making their way past the Royal Courts of Justice, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Bank of England, before reaching Tower Bridge and then returning to Westminster.

Our team of 15 runners put in an enormous effort, training, fundraising, and taking on the day, and we’re really proud of their efforts. We want to thank them all for being part of our inaugural team, and give a huge shout out to our star fundraiser Alice Buckingham who raised nearly £1,000!

We also want to say a special thank you to the brilliant team of four nurses from Stoke Mandeville intensive care, Buckingham, for smashing the race and raising over £1,350 in the process.

We’ll be back for London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2023, so get in touch if you’d like to take part!
