Medicine for Intensive Care - Online version
Intensive Care is perhaps the last remaining discipline where staff have to manage diseases of all systems: from liver failure to drug overdose,?PE to HIV,?SLE to SBE.?  It is about the diagnosis and management of complex medical conditions rather than just organ support.

Sometimes, it is the niche disease or therapy that puts the patient on ICU; sometimes we just need to know what to do with a drug or disease while the patient is with us; and sometimes our care causes or triggers the disease itself. Whatever the situation - it's really hard to keep up.?
