Psychoeducational courses
We have designed a series of psychoeducational courses tailored specifically to ICU staff and their clinical experiences. These are delivered online and facilitated live by trained psychologists. The events will be run for free throughout 2021. ICU staff of all professions can sign up for the modules below.
ICU Aware
This course is about stress awareness for managers. You’ll learn how to recognise stress in staff you manage and respond quickly and effectively. Up to 30 places will be available for each session.

ICU Protect
Here you’ll learn how to manage your stress in ICU. Explore stress awareness and self-care techniques in greater detail in intensive care staff. Up to 30 places will be available for each session.

This course is about helping you to prevent burnout and to reconnect with your core purpose at work. It tackles the problems of burnout and disengagement. Up to 30 places will be available for each session.
Duration - 3.5 hours + 30 minute break

ICU Sustain
This course involves closed group across four sessions about managing the psychological impact of working in ICU. It provides group psychoeducation and self-management of repeated exposure to trauma and its impact, to help you make sense of your experiences. These sessions will be run in closed groups of 6 – 10 members.
