Optimum Sedation Workshop
The documents below contain the slides and the text of the Optimum Sedation Workshops that were held in 2009. This was a collaboration between the ICS and GSK with the aim of improving awareness of the importance sedation in Intensive Care. The programme was endorsed by the ICS and sponsored by an unrestricted grant from GSK. The workshops were multidisciplinary and held in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle. The talks cover optimal sedation, pain management, delirium, sedation scoring and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after ICU.
