The Trainee Handbook began life five years ago as a paper publication. In 2005 we issued an updated handbook on CD. The content of that CD is now available on this page and is regularly updated as changes take place…although keeping up to date with changes in medical education is becoming somewhat challenging! Please email admin@ics.ac.uk if you have suggestions for future content for the handbook.
Trainees should also consult the Standards Pages for useful information.
We would like to thank BOC for their unrestricted grant funding the replication of the handbook on CD.
