Trainee Committee

Now is a great time to join the ICS as a trainee member! Benefits of membership include: heavily discounted rates for the ICS meetings; personal accident insurance in the event of death or disability during a patient transfer; monthly e-newsletters; free subscription to JICS, Guidelines and Critical Care Focus publications and a specially negotiated half price subscription rate to Intensive Care Monitor for ICS Trainees - currently £30.00. Existing Trainee Members may download a subscription form to subscribe to Intensive Care Monitor from here. New Trainee Members will be sent a form on confirmation of election to membership. For a full list of benefits please download the Membership Application Pack.

The goal of the committee is to improve our dialogue with the trainee members of the Society. We sit on all committees within the Society and several outside. It is important that we are able to express your views and not just our own. If there are any issues that you think should be raised about your training, the role of the society, the organisation of the meetings then please tell us. If you have questions relating to any aspects of the Society or our roles, then we may be able to help, or at least know who to ask for you.  At a more local level please contact your Trainee Linkman if you want to get your opinions heard and questions answered.

If it is not clear to whom your opinions or queries should be addressed then please email the Chairman.
