The Intensive Care Symposium is being jointly organised by the Royal College of Anaesthetists, The Intensive Care Society and The Royal College of Physicians. The Symposium will feature sessions covering the following topics:
- Cardiology Update
- Respiratory Issues in Critical Care
- Preventing ICU Admission
- Hearts and minds; Early recognition and management
A debate entitled 'High concentrations of oxygen should be given to all patients presenting with severe acute illness in A&E' will be held during day two of the Symposium.
