Who we are

 

The Intensive Care Society is a multi-professional membership organisation that welcomes medicine, nursing and allied healthcare professionals. Our members take care of the sickest patients in hospital and support their families.

For over 40 years the Society has provided educational resources, support and advice to our members, patients and relatives. We are dedicated to supporting the delivery of the highest quality of intensive care in the UK.

We have 6 main committees:

Membership Services

Further to these committees there is the board of the Intensive Care Foundation as well as specific sub-committees.

We collaborate with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine on the Joint Standards Committee.
