FICE (Focused Intensive Care Echo) is a practical solution to training in focused transthoracic echo for adult intensive care. The accreditation brings together the best of current methods and insight from echo trainers across the UK. The trainee will attend a FICE-approved basic echo course, complete a logbook of 50 studies and undergoes a final 'triggered assessment' carried out by an appropriate assessor.​​
